Haiku Foundation Dialogue: Childhood Memories – "Exploring Emotions"

Writing publication!! Our lives and the world itself can be dark and depressing, more so than ever in the last few years, and that makes a person especially appreciate moments of warmth and fuzziness where we can find them. So it’s with particular gratefulness that this month dynamic mother-daughter duo take the helm of the Haiku Foundations dialogue, to heartwarming and delightful effect!! Let’s all welcome accomplished prolific poet (and musician!) Sherry and precocious prodigy Zoe Grant as they usher in a wonderful month of ‘Childhood Memory’ themed editions. Very thankful to have one included in this week’s on ‘exploring emotions’! (Even more relatable if you ever endured Summer School detention… xD) Read all the wonderful poems and charming discussion and commentary (+ haiga!) from Sherry and Zoe - including on poems of Eavonka Ettinger, Daniela Misso, and Julie Bloss Kelsey, congratulations!! - here. And don't forget to submit for next week's episode, where the theme will be 'a special item from childhood: what did you treasure?'
