Translation publication!! I'm over the moon with appreciation towards Editor-in-Chief Susmita Paul and the Pine Cone Review for sharing this my first published English rendition of a Swedish poem, by the renowned poet, composer and statesman Gunnar Wennerberg, whose commemorative statue resides just down the street from my residence in a Minneapolis park! Please enjoy "Chimney Sweeping" (or "Sotarne" as it was originally titled) and look forward to more pieces from his seminal collection "Minor Poems" as they find new homes in other august pages... If you were not yet aware, the Pine Cone Review considers non-rhyming poetry, flash fiction, flash creative nonfiction, translations, visual art and any genre-bending or genre-mixing creations for general publication. They are presently reading for two special issues, IDEATE and WINGED SEEDS, which each have specific submission criteria.
