The inspiration for this journal came about whilst submitting short fiction and artwork to other publications out there. Doing so, I noticed in the posted specifications, a great many of them contained stipulations prohibiting or discouraging content which was 'political', in any way abrasive, or confrontational.

 

It really made me desire to create a space where moral, economic, antimilitaristic, environmental, and decolonial thought could be explored at length, indelicately, and would not get labeled 'politics' or 'controversial', or require any dressing up/codifying to avoid the risk of being marginalized by bourgeois media's gatekeepers.
